Volunteering
Are you able to commit to volunteering regularly in our clinic, mobile unit, or maternity home? Fill out this volunteer interest form so we can learn more about you. We’ll be in touch to see where you can start serving!
Volunteer needs include:
- Clinic – Medical Volunteers. RN, Nurse Practitioner’s needed to help with PAP and STI clinics. Medical assistants to assist in PAP clinics. Doctors needed to read ultrasound scans on a rotating basis.
- Clinic – Patient Advocates – training required and a weekly commitment is needed.
- Maternity Home Mentors and Helpers – training required, weekly commitment is needed. We also need weekend relief volunteers and overnight volunteers or find out about our paid overnight positions.
- Boutique and Grad store – Help organize, stock and report shortages for our back room shopping opportunities for patients and maternity home residents. Flexibile behind the scenes opportunities.
- Financial Allies – Once a year, we teach a 12-week course called Faith and Finance. We recruit ‘allies’ to participate with our maternity home residents and partner with them as co-learners to talk and think about God’s plan for our financial health. A commitment to attend for the twelve weeks is needed and a short introductory class to being an Ally.

Service Projects
Your group can help us with a service project. Deep cleaning, sorting, organizing, yard work, providing a meal and babysitting for maternity home on special occasions, hosting a baby shower, baby bottle prep, and/or processing are just a few of the ways groups can serve together. Fill out this interest form and we’ll be in touch to see where you can start serving or email Sara Stachowski at saras@carenetdane.org if you have an idea for a project.

Event Help
Do you love special events?
- Our Baby Bottle Campaign always needs volunteers to liaise between Care Net and churches.
- Every fall, Care Net hosts a banquet. It is a critical fundraiser, the only one of its kind that we host. There are many ways you can help make this event a success.
- We host a breakfast fundraising event in the Spring in the Dells.
- Care Fest takes place in the spring to provide essential baby supplies to those in need.
