Joy and Peace of the Season

Many of the women we serve are walking through seasons of deep struggle. Some come to The Elizabeth House seeking refuge from violence, chaos, and abuse. Their days are often filled with fear, stressful interactions, and constant worry.

When they find The Elizabeth House, they find something different—they find peace.
Because of you, day in and day out, we are able to provide stability, predictability, and balance—gifts many of our moms have never known.

That peace comes from the Prince of Peace—Jesus Christ. And because of your faithful support, our team is able to share His peace with the women and children we serve.

And once they experience peace, something beautiful begins to happen—they begin to find joy. Often, that joy surprises them… and it surprises us, too.

I have met women in their most hopeless moments—coming to us simply asking for a place to live. In their hearts, they can barely imagine that a different kind of life could be possible. They are truly without hope. But something miraculous happens when they move in and experience peace. Slowly, a spark of joy begins to grow.

God created us to experience both peace and joy, and Scripture tells us these are fruits of His Holy Spirit at work in our lives. I want you to know that your support of this ministry is bearing fruit—restoring God-given peace and joy to hurting women and children every single day.
