The First Steps Toward Independence Are Just $7,100 in Funding and Two Commercial Air Conditioners Away for Seven Women
You can help retire the initial funding on the maternity home in Marshall, install two new air conditioners, AND open the doors so that moms and babies can find freedom, stability, and hope during the Independence Day Challenge for Women and Babies.
Today is the last day to give to the Independence Day Challenge for Moms and Babies. It ends at 11:59 PM tonight, July 10, 2026.
The Elizabeth House is complete and ready to welcome its first families. The bedrooms are furnished. The kitchen is ready. Moms and babies are waiting.
The last portion of the $7,100 in initial funding and the cost of replacing two commercial, air conditioners – stand between moms and babies and a safe and secure place to live.
Will you help with your best gift?
The Elizabeth House in Marshall is a safe haven where single mothers can find:
- Safe, stable housing for themselves and their children
- A supportive community that believes in their potential
- The tools and resources to create healthy, stable family lives
- Parenting support and education
- Life-skills training to build independence
- Career development and job readiness
The Elizabeth House doesn’t just provide shelter — it provides a pathway to true independence.
At any given time, there are three women waiting for an open room at The Elizabeth House. These women are pregnant or have recently given birth and are homeless or live in chaotic situations. These women want to break traumatic cycles and build new legacies for their children.
They are ready. The house is ready.
Will you help open the doors by making a gift before 11:59 PM on July 10?
