Care Net is proud to announce Susan Bane, MD, PhD, aka Dr. Pink Glasses, will serve as the featured speaker for our 2026 Care Net Banquet on October 1. As she shares the changes she’s seen in the medical field over the past few years, guests will gain insight into the way language is being used to influence – and manipulate – the way we view and talk about abortion.

“As an obstetrician/gynecologist, I have a duty to care for both my patients – my maternal and fetal patient – a mom and her baby,” Dr. Bane shares.
To counteract abortion culture, Dr. Bane serves on the front lines of the pregnancy help movement. Across the United States, more than 2,000 pregnancy resource centers provide vital, free medical services to women and families. Dr. Bane oversees four such clinics in North Carolina, ensuring that moms and their unborn babies receive compassionate, high-quality care.
Because these centers offer a life-saving alternative to abortion, they increasingly face opposition from corporate abortion advocates, hostile media, and legal challenges. Dr. Bane established PinkGlasses Consulting in 2021 to help defend pregnancy centers, provide pro-life professional development, and advocate for ethical medical standards.
“As a medical director, I protect the pregnancy centers that save the lives of both my patients,” says Dr. Bane. “Because the pregnancy center movement is extraordinarily good and extraordinarily powerful, we are a threat to those that believe abortion is health care.”
Join us at the banquet to hear “Dr. Pink Glasses” share her urgent message of hope, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the sanctity of life.
Together, we can ensure life-affirming healthcare continues to thrive.
