What a blessing and joy it was to host the second annual Care Fest in partnership with Lighthouse Church and Extended Hands Food Pantry on April 1. We handed out over 20,000 diapers, hundreds of wipes, baby clothes, blankets, detergent, soap, personal care items and healthy food baskets at no cost to over 153 families in need. Love First, a clothing ministry, was also there and families that came were able to ‘shop’ for free clothing. Church members from Lighthouse were on hand to pray with families.
Without the support of local churches and dozens of volunteers, we never would have been able to host this beautiful expression of sharing. Thank you to the churches who partnered with us and the individuals who volunteered or made donations. Your generosity meant we had an incredible bounty to share with our community. Together, we are helping all families flourish and thrive!
