Scheduler Part-time

We are looking for a part-time patient scheduler to work two eight-hour shifts per week. As the first person a woman speaks with when she calls First Care Clinic, you’ll be a comforting voice that welcomes her to our clinic. The ideal candidate:

  • Can memorize a script and stick to it
  • Can easily move from phone to text or other online forms of communication to schedule patients
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Has a friendly, professional demeanor

Care Coordinator for First Care Clinic – Full time (30 hours)

The Care Coordinator assists patients/clients in obtaining wrap-around care, identifying and connecting them with the necessary education and services. This position also advocates the needs of our patients/clients to the community. Most women you work with are patients at First Care Clinic, but some will be referred to us from other agencies. Your responsibilities include:

  • completing and documenting follow-up calls through our defined patient process
  • Maintaining and enhancing our community referral database
  • Teach patient parenting and childbirth education using our research-based educational program.
  • Enroll patients in BadgerCare

A background in working with under-resourced populations or social services is a plus. Medical Educator/Nurse

We are looking for a nurse or other qualified medical professional to go into middle and high schools and provide students with sexual health information and equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to engage in healthy relationships and avoid sexually transmitted diseases, infections, and unintended pregnancies. House Parents – New Maternity home

We are beginning to look for a ministry-minded couple who aligns with our mission and vision to serve as live-in staff in our maternity home. Characteristics we are looking for include:

  • Model Christian values and lifestyles daily. Encourage moms to pursue personal relationships with Christ.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing home environment.
  • Assist moms with programming requirements including transportation, problem solving, and meal preparation.
  • Provide emotional support and teach life skills
  • Ability to love, nurture and equip diverse groups of women and children.
  • Commitment to the growth and stability of emotional, physical, financial and  spiritual health of women and children.

Overnight and Weekend Staff for the maternity home

Are you a relationship person? Do you like working with a diverse population and seeing women gain confidence and become the women and mothers God created them to be? By working one evening a week or occasional weekends, you can be a person who encourages and supports the residents who live in the maternity and parenting home. Some responsibilities include:

  • Answer door buzzes and allow authorized people in
  • Ensure all residents are accounted for by curfew
  • Set the security alarm each night. 
  • Eat dinner with the residents and supervise evening chores one night each week
  • Providing conflict resolution if needed to ensure a peaceful and respectful home.
  • Respond to overnight emergencies, including: Calling 911 in case of emergent labor; Calling a cab for a sick resident if necessary. 

Weeknights are 5:00Pm to 8:30 AM usually – pays $120 per 15.5 hr shift

Weekend shift 5:00 PM to 5:00 PM Friday and Saturday, pays $185 per 24 hour shift.
