As we celebrate 40 years of ministry here at Care Net Pregnancy Center, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions.
For starters, I’m incredibly grateful for the seven women who started this ministry in faith and as an act of obedience to God. And I’m so thankful for the many volunteers and donors who were passionate about saving and changing lives and gave time and funding to keep the organization alive and growing.
I’m joyful for the thousands of women who found hope and help and were able to choose life because of an encounter with our organization over the years. And I’m praise-filled for the lives that were saved, and the generations that continued because of the life choices made over the last four decades!
I feel sorrow for those women and men who chose abortion because they couldn’t see a way forward; for those who felt the pain and heartache that lingers long after physical healing from an abortion has occurred. And I also feel sorrow for the thousands of precious preborn lives that were lost to abortion because we didn’t reach their mothers or because the pressure was too great.
Last, I feel intense excitement for what the future holds. Friends, today, each step we take is built on a 40-year legacy of dedication and impact. And we’re charged with carrying the mission forward to ensure the next 40 years are even brighter for young moms and dads in crisis.
I hope that as you read this newsletter, you’ll see the vital role you play in our success. Because of you we can make life-affirming changes—including the launch of a second maternity home, expanding our clinic hours to accommodate women who need to be seen during the evening hours, and continually refining our advertising efforts to reach women in the midst of their fear and despair with a message of hope. Together, we are saving lives and creating His kingdom.

In His Service,
Sara
