There is no place for fear.
Sorrow, yes. Fear, no.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.” 2 Timothy 1:7

The recent assassination of Charlie Kirk has devastated all of us. It is a tragedy not only for his family, but for us as a nation, and for those who believe in the value of every life, preborn and born. We’ve lost a true Champion: a warrior who emboldened and educated our youth by debating and courageously defending truth.
We raise our voices with you in prayer for those closest to Charlie. We pray for peace and an end to violence and for protection for other champions who continue to courageously defend their values. We pray that the Holy Spirit will show us how to love one another well.
And we pray against fear. Let us continue to boldly proclaim truth and defend our beliefs with love and sound judgment, as Charlie Kirk modeled time and time again. Thank you for your courage and dedication to the work of protecting life and thank you for moving forward in the spirit of love.
